Why employers reply
Employers ignore generic recruitment pitches. A relevant, available candidate connected to a role they are hiring right now gives them a concrete reason to respond — so instead of asking whether they need recruitment help, we lead with the candidate.
Built for agency founders and desk leaders with strong candidates but inconsistent client demand — recruiters stay on delivery while SpecSend creates the openings, without risking your relationships or your brand.

How it works
From dormant bench to qualified employer conversations — your team keeps the relationship and the placement.
We map who's hiring your niche — this week.
A verified list of companies with live matching roles. Free, before any fee.
We pitch your anonymised candidates, from your brand.
Careful spec campaigns over your own bench — volume-capped, human-reviewed, DPA first.
You take the hot reply, closing stays yours
Interested employers land in your inbox within two working hours — full thread and candidate context included. Your team owns the relationship, controls qualification and closes the placement.
Your side stays small: approve the DPA and the export, approve every sequence, take the replies.
Sending controls: ≤20 messages per inbox per day · ~4-week warm-up before campaigns go live · every sequence approved by you · verified lists · instant opt-out suppression · paused on risk signals.

60–90 day pilot · cancel any time with 7 days’ notice — no long-term contract.
The model pairs a limited operating fee with a success-based share: the 10% applies only when an employer hires your candidate within six months of an introduction we made — every introduction is logged in a written ledger your agency can audit. Placements from your own pipeline owe nothing.
Live demand map for one agreed niche — refreshed monthly
Know where genuine hiring demand exists before spending.
Bench assessment of the approved export
Focus outreach on the candidates most likely to attract interest.
Up to two anonymised spec campaigns per month
Sent from your brand — build your agency's relationships, not someone else's.
Every interested reply within 2 working hours
Full thread and candidate context — respond while interest is fresh.
Weekly scorecard email
Sends, replies and introductions, in numbers you can audit.
Human-reviewed, volume-capped sending
Every sequence approved by you before it goes out.
The pilot tests whether your existing candidate bench can generate relevant employer interest in your niche before you commit to a longer engagement — introductions are the deliverable; we don’t promise placements.
Map first. Fee second.
We assess live demand before you pay the setup fee — it is only charged once the map confirms your niche is worth a campaign. If demand is too thin, you’ll know before committing.
About
SpecSend is built by two people: Jesse, a recruitment-agency founder who lived the problem, and Adrià, an AI–ML engineer and ERP consultant who builds data systems for a living. Behind them runs the system they built — a fleet of AI agents and structured data pipelines that map live demand, re-verify every row daily and assemble each campaign. Every send and every reply passes through human judgement. Story of SpecSend →

Questions
Are candidate identities shared with employers?
No. Candidates stay anonymised during mapping and outreach — no names, no current employer, no identifying details. Identity is revealed by your agency, in your own process, once you take over an interested reply.
Will this damage our agency's brand or deliverability?
Campaigns send from look-alike domains you approve, warmed for around four weeks first, at capped volume — only to companies with a live matching role, every sequence human-reviewed and approved by you. Opt-outs are suppressed instantly. We do not mass-mail.
What data do you need from our ATS?
We do not require login access to your ATS. After the DPA is signed, your team runs a supervised export with us on a call — only the fields needed for scoring and matching: role history, skills, availability, salary band, location. No special-category data. Everything is deleted within 14 days of pilot cancellation or completion, confirmed in writing.
Do candidates need to approve outreach?
Your agency confirms its candidates consented to spec marketing (the standard registration consent most agencies hold) or that another lawful basis applies. We only ever send anonymised teasers — a candidate's identity moves only when your agency chooses to share it.
What happens when an employer replies?
The reply lands in the campaign mailbox under your brand and is transferred to you within two working hours — full thread and candidate context included. From that moment the conversation is yours; we don't reply further.
How does the 10% placement share work?
It applies only when an employer hires your candidate within six months of an introduction we made — every introduction is logged in a ledger you can read at any time, and we invoice only when your fee lands. If your fee is rebated within three months, our share credits back proportionally. Placements from your own pipeline owe nothing.
What happens after the 60–90 day pilot?
You continue on a standard engagement or simply walk away. Cancelling takes seven days' written notice at any point — no long-term contract — and your candidate data is deleted within 14 days of cancellation or completion, confirmed in writing.
What if there isn't enough demand in our niche?
Then the map shows it, we tell you straight away, and no setup fee is charged.
Get your free demand map — no call needed
Tell us your recruitment niche and region. Adrià reviews current hiring demand and emails you the map. If the market is thin, you’ll know before paying anything; if it’s strong, you decide whether to begin the controlled 60–90 day pilot.
Submit your niche → Adrià reviews it → your map arrives by email within two working days → you decide what’s next.
What the free map includes
- · A full map for your niche and region — not a teaser.
- · Typically 15–20 companies where demand supports it; if it’s thinner, we say so.
- · Company names, live roles, demand signals and verification dates — hiring-manager identification where publicly available.
- · Delivered as a PDF by email within two working days.
- · No obligation — requesting it starts nothing.
Hiring windows move quickly — a map is worth most while its roles are current. Every week an available candidate sits untouched, employers fill roles, candidates leave the market, and another agency may start the conversation first.
